I guess. Like it won't explode. (Unless you put C4 on the wood)

Is it possible to put ur motherboard direcyly on a wooden board as a test bench with out screwing it down or using mother board stand offs.

 

yes, similar to what most do to test their systems before installing into the case

by assembling the system on the motherboard box.
