Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro or Audio-Technica ATH-M50x. I just play games don`t really listen to music. So I need which ever headset that is the most comfortable for long periods of hours. Here in Australia I can get the Headsets both at the same price so there is no price difference.I don`t intend to buy a DAC or Audio card at the moment I just need a new headset so i can chuck out my faulty old one.Btw I already have a mic.

If you have any other suggestions for other headsets that is 170 AUD and that is comfortable forgaming please mention it.

Thanks

I'd say neither *for gaming*. Especially not the super uncomfortable M50x.

Have you tried it on? Your prom date says it's "infinitely more comfortable than the M50"

Those aren't the best for "gaming". Are you a fun or a competitive gamer? Do you prefer open or closed?

You must "Quote" to get my attention.

Get COP with headset kit.

Out of those two, COP is designed to be more versatile, and is perfectly fine for gaming use.

Only two problems, though

1. Ear gets hot pretty fast. Might not be a problem for some people, or they may not even get that ear hot'ness

2. No mic mute switch on headset kit. But its at least better than no mic. But if you intend to use desktop mic, this point becomes moot.

I personally own this and did use it for some time before I moved onto other setups. Might come back around to it, though.

I think you are better of buying a 7.1 headphone,i use ATH M40X with Asus xonar U7 it's one hell of a headphone for music, movie and gaming.
