Windows RT Jailbreak, program compatability question

So I recently purchased a Surface RT, and due to things that happened I need to do some programming stuff for one of my classes on preferably this device(mostly to keep everything in one place). Then I found the jailbreak for RT, along with a x86 emulator. Would these allow me to run the coding software, Eclipse? Thanks!

If it treats it like an x86 platform, then yes. However I wouldn't recommend doing it. You never know what could happen     

 

EDIT: Wait, it's the processor an ARM processor? making it impossible to run x86 based applications?

Not really, I'd probably be easier to SSH into a linux machine at home and code on that from the Surface RT.

I'm not super knowing of all this stuff but from what I read while researching it, it emulates the program in a way. I'm probably horribly wrong though

You can dual boot in a matter of minutes if you care to go that path.
