me again

this is what happened to me yday: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/200310-heat-problems-out-of-the-blue/

got the thermal paste today and changed the dead h220 with the stock cooler, connected it to the cpu fan header and power the pc on, but the fan on the cooler wouldn't spin, then i noticed that even aux cpu fan header doesn't put out any power

so atm, i have the stock intel cooler connected to the sys fan header so it's keeping the cpu cool

but my question is, what's up with the cpu fan header?

did the h220 took those to hell with it?

is that even possible, that a cooler would take out the fan header?

or did the header take out the pump?

i didn't hear it revving up, not the pump (cpu fan header) nor the fans on the rad (aux cpu fan)

all other sys fan headers work

i hope it's not a h/w problem with my mobo :(

why i see 0 views for my thread :(

no1 wants to help? :(

anyways, i posted same thing on msi forum and ppl there confirmed, that the cpu fan controller died along with the pump, sucks

so i guess i'll either have to get a nice fan controller, like corsairs commander mini (not available here, yay) or RMA the board and wait for weeks/months to get it back
