Zen Coding Plugin

So I'm doing a web coding subject in my masters at university and I need to get the Zen Coding Plugin working with Notepad++ on my laptop to keep up with the coding pace of the lecturer.

Unfortunately, unlike the university's machines where I did get it working, my laptop refuses to run it and I have no idea why.

 

Things ruled out so far.

Python script not working...
- it seems the menu button works for auto complete but not the keyboard shortcut.

Rubbish keyboard..

- swapped keyboard for awesome ducky shine 3 with full n-key roll over.... same issues.

Ok, my Google foo found me the solution at last. Here it is

This happens when there is a conflict with the short cut keys within notepad++

 

Go to Go to
settings > Shortcut Mapper > Plugin Commands tab
To change your plugin shortcuts

or just go to

settings > Shortcut Mapper
to change the default shortcuts

Hope this helps anyone with a similar issue....
