So my school has Enterprise editions of Windows 7, and I was wondering that if I used bitlocker to encrypt my Portable HDD there, would the drive be accessible (With password) on a Home Premium version of 7 or 8?

I don't know if that would work.

One time I encrypted my flash drive at home, with bitlocker, and it wouldnt work with half the computers at my school. Unless you have FBI level stuff on there, theres really no need to
