I have been thinking of buying a new Laptop charager because my current one isn't in the best shape (dropped it often and my cat chewed on the cable) but I am kind of afraid of the quality of surrogate charagers. Is there any way to obtain the original model of my MSI GE60 2OC from MSI itself? Saw some offers on Ebay but do not want to buy there ... if that is not possible how good would this one be? http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00BRX7HD2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A8Q8CJJR7ZPEX

Don't buy cheap chargers as they're almost always granted to be missing crucial components that protect your laptop, your probably looking at spending 60 eur for a good one also some laptop chargers use 1-wire communication so you can only use the OEM charger.

Where can I buy OEM Charagers?

You don't necessarily need an OEM charger as they can reverse engineer the protocol easily you just need one made for the laptop (for the proper protocol but this is of course if MSI implemented this other wise you'll just need a good charger) and that it has over serge protection ect.

Okay thanks for the quick answer. Another question, according to the MSI Website my Laptop suppots Supercharger? What exactly is that and should I start using it now that I have to buy a new charger anyway?

Also would it be dangerous to continue using my current charager for the future for some time? At the beginning (when I got my laptop) it made crackle sounds but that stopped after some weeks. The issue is recently my cat chewed on the cable (superfically, probably only damaged the isolation, not the actual wires) and I occasionally 'drop' it on the flooor instead of lying it down softly. Could it damage my computer or even explode?

If I remember correctly Supercharger is for the USB ports to but out more power to cell phones ect. also it should be fine for a bit long as your cat doesn't chew on it again.
