Knowing what the setting does is a good thing for people who needlessly worry about how much RAM Chrome uses. The default setting is 128MB, meaning no matter what you are doing in Chrome or how many tabs you have open, it can only use 128MB of your system RAM. Even if someone is rocking an old system with 4GB of RAM, the max 128MB that Chrome is capable of using is only 3%.

i like max :D.why have so much ram if you going to rarely use it. People with lower specs can ignore it :P
