Just checking the GPU compatibility, are you sure that GTX 780 will work with GTX 780Ti?

Just making sure, I'm not trying to be mean or anything, just don't want you to have to return it and stuff.

*oh and the memory as well, but considering that 6GB EVGA 780 Ti just came out pretty recently, again, just making sure :D

I have a 780, not a 780ti.

You might benefit from a 144Hz monitor if you can stretch your budget, especially if you plan on going GTX 780 SLI.

I play FPS, but imo, I don't play enough to warrant spending the extra money, especially for a TN panel.

8gb is currently more than enough, and should be enough for the foreseeable future.

Meh, for now, I'll probably just stick with 8gb, later on...down the road when 16gb actually matters DDR3 will have gone done a significant amount, and therefore I may as well get it then.

MY biggest question right now is whether or not I should be looking at a different monitor instead. (1440p is more than I'd like to spend, and 144hz isn't necessary).

well, if I do end up deciding to upgrade to a 1440p monitor in the future, then I'd still want another that I could use as a secondary screen....so, for now i'll just get a good 1080p display.

So, should I be looking at a different monitor, or is the one I linked in the original post good?

P.s. I responded to your post in the paypal thread.
