Sorry if this is in the wrong subforum, i don't know where to put it in.

I can trade my PS3 + 280x for an Sapphire 290 and 50 euros, is it worth it?

I never use my PS3 (obviously).

I don't think the 290 performs that much better than an 280x, or does it?

Anyways, i need some advice.

Edit: I waited too long and the seller could sell it to someone else before i could make a choice.

Its a good deal. The 290 and 290X actually use new chips, while the 280X and below are just refreshed versions of earlier models. There is a noticeable performance jump going from the 280X to the 290. I wouldn't do it if the 290 was a mining card though.

Too late :P Another person could buy it faster than me and with a good deal, i waited too long :( I didn't really need a new GPU anyways, i'd rather sell my PS3 for money and buy stuff i need like an SSD.
