Mobo Update

Go to solution Solved by Aniallation,

When you buy a new Mobo, has the Mobo the newest Firmware or do you have to update it?

It will have the latest BIOS of when it was built, so you'll likely need to update it to get to the latest version, but if the motherboard is for example a Z87 and made after Haswell Refresh came out then you don't need to update it just to use the Haswell Refresh CPUs
