Streaming on 3470?

So now that I have my 290 I thought I could start doing small streams on twitch with friends. So when I tried streaming with OBS, on csgo and cod4 deathrun I get a lot of lag and my friends said my stream was jittering. I have a 9mb up and 30 Down, so I thought maybe it could be my CPU?

Use Intel Quicksync with OBS but IDK if HD 2500 will handle it.

it can and the quality isnt that bad either but that's dependent on the bitrate ofcourse

if i can stream using quicksync on a pentium dualcore you can stream on an i5 no problem.

High bit rate 720p shouldn't be bad but 1080p wouldn't likely work.

Megabytes or Megabits?

What settings are you using? Those specs are enough for 720p/1080p 30fps streaming.
