Gigabyte Z97X-UD5H
272$
OR
MSI Z87-GD65
202$

Don't suggest anything or say anything about the prices because everything here is Overpriced and i can't really get anything shipped here it'll be the same price maybe higher

So i could get the MSI Z87-GD65 and save money maybe also invest them in an SSD (I Don't know they are also pretty Overpriced here) Maybe i could invest in a gold PSU

or Just get the GIGABYTE for the looks and performance and be happy but not save money and not have an SSD

If those are your only two choices then get the MSI and get an SSD. Besides the design there's really no difference between the two mobos that you'll notice. You'll be a lot happier with an SSD

"better" audio but you likely won't notice much of a difference. Onboard motherboard audio is a lot better then it used to be, and brand name boards generally have pretty decent onboard sound. The Gigabyte has two more USB 3.0 ports on the back, but do you even have 6 (8 if you include the front panel headers) USB 3 devices? Honestly yes they are improvements but considering that you can get an SSD for the price difference, none of the better factors of the Gigabyte can really make you as happy as an SSD :P

Also the only thing that Z97 really brings to the table is M.2 support. Z87 and Z97 will be pretty much the same in terms of just being a motherboard

I don't really have my mind on an SSD i want to save more money and go for a Gold PSU and maybe get the SSD next year

what about the next gen of Intel CPUs?

If you get the z97 ud5h bk (black version) it comes with a 5 year warranty, just throwing that out there.

Get the Gigabyte.. It's more reliable and durable.. MSI is no less and is catching up these days.. but I prefer Gigabyte..

The best way to choose will be to see which manufacturer offers best after sales / RMA support locally. If MSI offers better support than Gigabyte, go for it.. else, just stick with Gigabyte..

Oops.. but what's your processor that you are planning to pick????

Z87 won't be supporting Broadwell unfortunately

Don't worry.. It will.. Intel website states so.. Better.. Check the manufacturer website for compatible processor list..
