Which Radeon is better?

XFX Radeon R9 280 3GB or Sapphire Radeon R9 270X 2GB

 

Like the title says, which graphics card is better for gaming? I can't decide on which of the two cards to get for my budget gaming build. The kinds of games that I will be playing include, but are not limited to: GTA, Assassins Creed, APB Reloaded, Metro Last Light, Battlefield 4, Bioshock Infinite, DC Universe Online, Minecraft, etc. So, which of the two cards would be better for playing these games, plus many others in ultra/high settings, all whilst remaining at a good, playable FPS rate of at least 50? 

 

I haven't actually built my PC yet, so I can't really write exactly what my hardware specs are. However, I have made a post in the build section, asking for advice. With that being said, here are the three possible builds, each with a different card:

280 the XFX cooler is fine.
