Laptop cpu speed problem

Hello

I have some problems with the speed of my notebook cpu

Ive tried to narrow down a couple of things because It started right after I put my laptop into hibernate. for some reason my cpu goes from the standard 3.0 ghz back to 800 mhz and it keep switching in voltage between 1.6 v and 0.7V every 30 seconds Ive tried to reset/update my BIOS but that does not seem to fix it. it started off as having lots of fps drops in game I normally played at 60 fps steady.

Also tried to change the cpu speed to 100% in both powersource and on battery... I also tried to delete my hiberfil.Sys

This is intended to save battery life and power consumption costs. Your GPU is more likely to be the cause of the FPS drops in games than the CPU.

If you really want to stop this from occurring, you can disable Intel SpeedStep technology in your BIOS if the option is available. I wouldn't recommend doing this if you do not have your laptop actively charging, though.

But it does it even under load... And this did not affect me before I used the hibernation

have you checked your temps, it could be thermally throttling?

 

is there a in windows performance mode that you can set it to?

And you are sure you are not running battery save mode?

I am indeed running in high performance mode I will check temps in a while. Thanks!
