new graphics card

i want to get a new graphics card but i am on a budget of just £50 and want to buy a GT 640 the minimum system power for this card is 350W and according to the sticker on the side of my psu my psu is 300W

so should i risk it and get the graphics card to see if it works or should i stretch my budget and get a new power supply  

if someone could give me some advice or even just vote on witch i should do that would be a great help

If the card doesn't have a power connector you should be fine.

not a clue wt model the power suply is just know that it outputs 350W and that it came with a dell insparon the motherboard is the dell insparon type a motherboard (high end one) 

gt 430 graphics card at the moment (overclocked)

and all in the standerd case that is custom painted with a window let me know wt you think about weather i should upgrade or weight longer to get a 650 ti boost and a corsair ax 650w power suply

You won't get great gaming results on this new gpu so I would wait. I would go with a 7850 because you will be able to OC it in order to beat the 650 ti boost card.

+1. They are similar in performance but the hd 7850 ocs better.
