Sony Vaio pcg-3e2l will not turn on

D3monH3adz

I have a sony vaio pcg-3e2l with windows 7 with out a battery, just a wall charger.

The problem is it will not power on when the power button is pressed.

The light on the adapter is lit up so there is power, and when i plug the adapter into the laptop, the led light lights up green for 2 seconds and shuts off. When pressing the power button nothing happens, when removing the power adapter the led light flashes green again.

I have opened it up already and made sure the connection to the power jack was working.

Please help.

sounds like she buggered!

Could be the power brick, could be the power switch. Perhaps the motherboard.

If you have a multimeter you could try tracing the circuits until you find the problem. This could be very time consuming.
