problems when plugging in/ unplugging from mobo I/O

Go to solution Solved by dragoon20005,

it may seem that the audio port may have a short or manufacturing defect

and it only affects the rear audio port

suggest RMA the board is the solution

Problem:

Okay so I built my PC a couple of weeks ago and since I did I occasionally have had problems with plugging and unplugging things from the mobo I/Os. I had the problem again not long ago when I went to plug in my headphones. The PC hard shut down and then when I went to restart it, the fan would start to spin (I have a windowed case and can see it) and then would stop. It would keep repeating this problem until I switched the PC off at the back. I kept trying to turn it on but with no luck. Finally, I unplugged my headphones from the PC and then tried to turn it on and it came on successfully. Problem is when I went to plug in my headphones again it hard shut down again and I had to repeat the whole process. Eventually, after waiting a little longer to plug my headphones in from when it turned on this time, the computer didn't crash and let me use my headphones like normal. I've also had this problem with using the USBs on the mobo occasionally and it just seems so strange that for the most part, everything works exactly as it should but then every now and then the computer will just crash and won't start up again without some trouble.

I hope I've explained the problem well enough. Thank you in advance to anyone with any suggestions.
