Budget FreeNAS w/ MC & TS Server Jail

So I'm going off to college and I'm taking my computer with me and all, but I want to make sure I have a good backup.

I already keep everything backed up to an external 3TB drive and my laptop, but I want an off site backup too, because I'm a paranoid freak.

So I want build a cheap NAS to leave at home and back up to.

I was planning on just spinning it off of Austin Evans' Boson build, since it's not going to be doing anything crazy it should be fine.

So here are the parts I've picked from his build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Seireiju/saved/RrRYcf

CPU - AMD Athlon 5350

Motherboard - ASUS Mini ITX AM1I-A

Drives - I also have a few new drives that I'm going to pop in so not buying those now.

RAM - Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB (1x8 GB Module) 1600MHz I'm going to start off with 8GB and and another 8GB stick later,

PSU - Already have a spare Corsair 500W 80+ Bronze PSU that I can put in so I don't need to buy that either,

Case - Cooler Master Elite 110

I also want to replace the old machine I have sitting there running my teamspeak and Minecraft servers, so I figured I could run them in Jails.

I'm very familiar with Minecraft overhead and requirements, I just wasn't sure because of FreeNAS being in the equation,

I think you should go with 12 or 16 gbs of ram just to be safe

Ya I'm thinking the same thing, Since I tend to allocate 2-4GB per Minecraft Server.

I'm running an MC server in FreeNAS 9.2.1.5 and it's pretty good. Then again, my server is OP.

8 cores (two 4 core Xeons)

32GB of DDR2 RAM

SSD for Minecraft exclusively (Minecraft loves SSDs).

Ya I ran my servers on a machine w/ 2 Quad Core Xeons & 16GB Ram, but I repurposed that machine for something else and pushed everything onto an old Pentium machine for the time being,

Here is an updated parts list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Seireiju/saved/RrRYcf

I decided to go with another motherboard since I needed one that fit in the Elite 110, and I'm going to start off with 8GB and and another 8GB stick later,

If anyone can suggest another small case that can handle lots of drives and is in that same price range that'd be great,
