Printer recommendations?

The_Strict_Nein

I'll be going to Uni in September and am in need of a printer. Something with separate cartridges for each colour and black. Any recommendations?

Do you need colour? Laser mono printer is like best value and it doesn't dry out if you don't print.

if you need like two colour pages it's best to just print them somewhere else, dealing with ink cartridges is painful and if you print many pages of text you will run out of ink fast.

OKI printers are as good as it gets for document printing. Great drivers, fantastic build quality, easy to service and nice print quality. They also have a wide variety of models for all budgets and usage scenarios.

Nah, I just happen to like them. Got a Microline 182 a long time ago and I've found them a brand worth trusting ever since. I've owned several of both, their dot-matrix and laser printers. Haven't had a bad one yet.
