ROG MOBO compatability issues with G.Skill

The RAM wants to run at 1.6V but the MOBO only likes running RAM at 1.5V.....what can i do? Is this right? Check the link at the compatibility issues.

the motherboard will automatically down clock the rams speed and voltage to a point that it will work then you can re clock it. yes

It's not the mobo it's the CPU. Also no need to worry about that. Intel has confirmed that you can use ram with Voltage of up to 1.65 without a problem. 

 

(Also you would be happy to get 40 fps a 1440p in AAA titles on ultra. I don't see the point of buying a 1440p 120 hz monitor.)

Use XMP profile in your mobo, and otherwise get other ram that runs  at 1.5 volts. See answers above.

This is complete nonsense, you can run memory at 1.6v on that board just fine. Even 1.65v would be fine.
