are any of the moduvents removed?

are your HDDs secured using the rubber vibration reduction things?

It think it would be fans that rattle the case from the screws.

 

I'll look into that, but when I disconnect the hdd's and boot, the case is almost completely silent.

I haven't removed any of the moduvents and the rubber vibration things can't be removed?

I can hear drive activity noise through mine, but it's muffled. The case isn't going to make everything completely silent.
