Use mechanical keyboard as a stomp box?

I saw a guy do it at a concert and hitting it with the tip of his toe (he wasn't wearing shoes). I thought it was really cool! Are the keyboards really that resilient? If so that is really impressive!

it was probably because he didn't have anything else laying around or other keyboards wouldn't have enough spacing

 

I mean it might hold up fine, but I wouldn't put bare feet on my keyboard

Yeah, he had key caps pulled off and such. I was just like "Wow. How is is not dead?" at the end of the concert xD

The only way i would do that if it was a cheap membrane keyboard. I wouldn't waste money on a mechanical keyboard and break it.

Same, I actually had a cheap Onn keyboard for five years and it started having key issues and them cracking down the center...
