pc part ticker link dosn't work, and if your using an antenna, you can't use one on a laptop wifi card, you would have to use something like this which would fit. http://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-TL-WDN4800-Wireless-Express-Low-profile/dp/B007GMPZ0A/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1407556882&sr=1-1&keywords=tp+link+pci+card

yes, you laptop wifi card needs these cables, you can't use antennas that are coax like on a laptop wifi card

The motherboard has a different looking desktop antenna and that's why I was confused. I now know those three I listed above work together. But thank's for trying.

It only comes with a desktop antenna which I don't want. And why would you say it's overkill?

about the desk antenna just put it behind the case

and because what benefit do you get with it vs a cheaper one?
