Depends really, what's your use case? Just game play recording, with no editing, shadowplay is great.

Awesome image quality and you need to edit, FRAPS is good, but you probably need to alter your hardware config to make FRAPS not destroy your frame rate.

Almost no loss in image quality, but still some, and the ability to record your microphone to a separate audio channel so you can balance audio levels while editing, go dxtory.

Shadowplay is free and the others aren't, and trials suck

I am good at computer

I have used FRAPS, Dxtory and Shadowplay.. I personally loved Dxtory compared to FRAPS. It ran better on my PC and you have a lot more options, for video and audio. Plus you can stream using Dxtory..

Although FRAPS is a great starting program if you just want to start recording. Although the file sizes a HUGE!

In saying that, I don't use either programs any more. I picked up an Avermedia Live Gamer HD capture card and have been using that ever since.
There is no performance loss, and it records 1080p with great quality and small file sizes.
