DSL MODEM HELP D:

Ok so for a router i will be upgrading to a Linksys WRT1900AC and that is just a router and ofc i need a modem. one question what modem do i get??? and it has to be DSL from a phone line unless there is some other plug in the house i can use that i don't know about. the main reason i ask is because will any modem do ??? and everytime i looked up one i always get a router and modem combo in one thing.

im pretty sure the WRT1900AC works as a modem too, lel and you shouldnt be using something like that on a DSL connection anyway? you'll be transferring 10mb/s of data with a 1.9gb/s capable link xD

he needs a "modem" he has a DSL connection. lel.

well there's no point buying such a powerful router for such a slow connection, the best connection type is fibre for it, i would suggest getting a cheaper router and using powerline adapters to reach your computers instead of being wireless, but still maintaining WiFi capabilities
