so i have just got a job and can upgrade my pc i was wondering should i upgrade my 8350 to a 4790k would there be that much of a difference in gaming... when is DDR4 coming out because i might wait for that you let me no if there is no point in upgrading i will get a new lense for my DSLR

DDR4 that is coming out is for X99 and server chipsets, not for consumers (yet)

An I7 bring just about no difference at all atm so there is no sense in upgrading to one from an 8350. DDR4 will come out first with X99 chipset. It probably won't be until Skylake (socket 1151) that DDR4 becomes easily accessible. There is no real point in upgrading except for the graphics card if it isn't decent yet. Upgrading to an R9 290 would be decent if you are quite a bit below this card right now.
