Ive been trying to diagnose my hardrive for a week now. I was told that defraging it would be a good idea, so I did. The problem, my computer has been on for more than a week straight and still is defragging, it is almost through pass 9 but honestly is this a sign of a bad HDD because the ups man could bring me a hard drive faster than this one will defrag

I don't think so, i think you have a lot of files which would cause this.

how long would I be lookin at here I have 1tb HDD and probably 350-400gb downloaded on it

Max one day or two, it shouldn't take long. If it was defragged then it will take a long time.

It shouldn't take that long, normally takes a few hours. You could run a hard drive diagnostic (I use Seatools) to make sure it's not going bad.
