I'm pretty sure Windows 8 does this by default.

Not sure how to do it with older versions of Windows though xD

 

 

There are third party programs like dual monitor taskbar that let you do that.

Not using windows 8 and never will. And i amusing a dual lcd program but it will not extend the task-bar with Nvidia Surround running.  I am using Display Fusion for the dual task bar and wallpaper management.

Why wouldn't u use Win8, it's better then Win7 in every possible way, just install Startisback and you have a way faster Win7
