2 on top as exhaust, and one side fan as intake.

You know, with that case you could add a couple more, but essentially, you should prioritize the GPU and CPU first, then the drives.

Where should the side fan be? 

On the bottom and pointing upwards and the 2 on top pointing downwards?

I am not completely sure what exhaust and intake mean in this context.

You mean the airflow direction?

 

The part where the sticker is placed means that the air exits towards that side. So the two fans on top need to have the stickers top side (exhaust)

The side fan, you place on the bottom part with the stickers inside the case (intake). You can test it out, like leave your case open and turn it on so you can check where the air is going to.

You can bark like a dog, but that won't make you a dog.

You can act like someone you're not, but that won't change who you are.

How I plan my builds -

For me I start with the "There's no way I'm not gonna spend $1,000 on a system."

Followed by the "Wow I need to buy the OS for a $100!?"

Then "Let's start with the 'best budget GPU' and 'best budget CPU' that actually fits what I think is my budget."

Realizing my budget is a lot less, I work my way to "I think these new games will run on a cheap ass CPU."

Then end with "The new parts launching next year is probably gonna be better and faster for the same price so I'll just buy next year."

I barely understand. 

But I'll give it a try, when I can.

Sorry for going a bit off topic, but is the vrm left without cooling in the Asus 280 (not x) as well? I have already ordered it, and I'd like to know whether or not oc'ing will break it.

My Gigabyte HD7950 (280) VRM's were.

 

If their not, thats pretty stupid.......& manufacturers factory fail.

They do get quite toasty WITH, let alone without them...

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
