Hi,

I want a gaming pc for $2000 AUD. I currently live in Queensland.

The aim for this computer is to be mainly gaming and I want to run games such as BF4, Borderlands 2 and Pre-Sequel, Arma 3, Dayz, League Of Legends, At the max settings at least over 80 frames on lol, Bf4 and borderlands, and over 40 frames on Arma 3 and Dayz on 1 1080P monitor

I do not need Peripherals as I already have them.

I am upgrading from my crappy 3 year old Macbook Pro and I want a BEAST Gaming Desktop.

Thanks!

If you dont plan to do SLI later on, the switch the PSU to a 600W PSU or so,it will save about 100AUD. Also the case I choose is the one I like, you can change to whatever else you want

This will give you a lot better FPS than the builds above, and the OC probably as good as the X61 Kraken.

I would suggest an i7 and 2x8GB of memory. Should help out with the more cpu intensive games in the list.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Once you have found a list of components you like (as suggested by the above posts), you might want to do some shopping around on staticice.com.au - not all Australian vendors are listed on PCPartPicker. For parts where the likelihood of warranty claims or RMA is low (i.e. case, fans, etc.), I usually purchase them from MSY, as they are generally more competitive on price, but not always. For other parts, I will usually go to IJK.
