To fight Russia? Lol what? No for them to attack America so they could declare war and get all the oil!!!

That too, but at the time, we funded the Muja-hadeen (might be mispelled) to fight the russians when they attempted to invade Afghanistan, one of the few proxy wars during the cold war.

And considering your gas prices are kept lower than they would otherwise be, you should probably be happy about it. Not like those countries have any other redeeming qualities.

Never understood this argument, around 1/3 the price of oil is taxes, and 4 of the 5 countries we import from aren't even in the middle-east. The second largest importer (first being Canada) is Saudi Arabia, and last I checked we aren't particularly enemies with them. Also only about 13% comes from Saudi Arabia...

I would believe the conspiracy that oil companies are keeping known reserves secret so they don't have to mine them and lower the price, but I still am extremely skeptical that Al Qaeda was an elaborate multi-decade plan to let America invade the sand people. I say extremely skeptical because of the NSA, but that doesn't help because we couldn't keep an employee from copying classified data onto a thumb drive and running to Russia.

Also I wouldn't call $3-5 a gallon cheap.

I completely agree with you, I've often said that the world would be a better place with absolutely no governments, I for one believe governments are behind most crimes in one way or another, because they have to justify their own existence.

So Israel is also not a joke?

Not even gonna touch that one. And it gets you on my ignore list.
