I just got my new PSU in the mail... And it is about 3 inches longer than my previous one... So, right where my pump is, touches the wires that are coming out of the PSU, I'd like to re-route my whole loop, but I don't want to wait for more water to come from FrozenCPU... Could I just go to walmart and buy distilled water? Or does it have to be <0,1üS/cm?

Also... If I would re do my loop... What is the best way to drain it and rinse it all?

just use distilled water and a kill coil or a biocide

distilled water is only super pure and nonconductive until it touches metal, so the walmart stuff will likely work fine

Okay because I have a kill coil in my res right now... and I also have some Feser Base in my loop to stop corrosion...

What would I need to flush out my system with on order for it to be clean? Helping told me when I first built this loop that Vinegar and water is good

I'd flush it a couple times with vinegar and water. just to make sure any possible algae or bacteria is killed due to PH changes

after that, you should be good to go.

So it's safe to use regular distilled water from walmart or another market like that?

Distilled water is pretty much the same wherever you buy it. it should work fine if you have the proper algae prevention in your loop.

But the kind that ... I think Ghost... mentioned to get was the <0,1üS/cm

Which idk even know what it means, but I listened :P it's from alphacool so I pretty much knew it was right but I don't feel like waiting for more water

Okay... And just go half and half with water and vinegar and just rinse it down the tubes and through the rad and stuff?

Okay thanks... And for the rad and res and such... Do I just put a bit in and then shake it around and pour it out and repeat?

you can experiment with it. find out which method of cleaning it works the best for you.

Some people just leave the whole loop intact and fill the res with the water/vinegar mixture, run the pump then drain it a couple times.

I would do that... But I don't have any drain pipes set up in my loop, so I have to pop open the res and let it run out a little bit
