So yesterday I was optimising my OS following some of the steps in the Guides and Tutorials thread but when I got up today and turn on my pc I couldn't load a page on chrome and my bowers plugins started crashing could this be because I have ad block and ad block plus running at the same time? and if not do u guys have any idea what might be causing it to crash thanks

There's a distinct lack of actual detail here. We need the specific version of Chrome you're using, every extension and version you're running, and even specs could/would be relevant. Also, you could try undoing whatever steps you followed, as whatever you did may undesirable side effects.

Add block plus wouldn't cause plugins to crash. I'd do a clean install of chrome. Like Jade said, more details would be helpful.
