I was thinking of buying an xfx double D card, but i gotta ask first, as you obviously have that card: how are the noise levels on it? I'm currently running an XFX 6870 (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-video-card-hd687azhfc) and it's way too loud for my taste. It has no coil whine or anything, but the fan is just entirely too loud, it sits idle at 40 celcius but the whooshing sound is LOUD. How is it on your card? Maybe with the 2 fans the noise levels are hopefully inaudible, or nearly inaudible.

                                                                                                                                            Praise Duarte!

  • 1 month later...

sorry that it took me so long to answer.

The noise levels are ok for me. But the ANTEC P280 is sound dampend and also the Headset blocks sound really well.

At Idle i can barely hear it but it gets quite a bit louder under load.

Performancewise it's great!
