I've been waiting for the 700 series to come out to buy a reduced priced 660 TI..but it's been forever and I kind of don't want to wait anymore. How much will the 660 TI's price drop when the 700 series comes out anyway? If it's less than a $50 price drop I'll just buy a 660 TI now. Should I wait a little longer or not? I've had the money for a while already.

if you live in the US newegg is having an amazing memorial day sale (most places in the US are) so i would get one this weekend it will probably be cheaper than any sale you MIGHT get because of the release.

From the looks of the rumors the 760Ti is basically a 670 and if its price is similar to the 660Ti at launch then I'd just wait for that. idk if the 660Ti will drop that much.

Old shit no one cares about but me.

Doubtful it will drop much at all.  Keep in mind when the 700 series comes out, it will have a new flagship card to take the #80 spot, the GTX 680 will become the #70 model, and the GTX 670 will become the #60 Ti model.  So I'd still wait for the 700 series because it's basically a $100 price cut for the cards below #80.

Yea you should definitely wait until the 700 series launchs because the 760ti is a rebranded 670 and you can grab a 760ti power edition from MSI which is pretty much the 670 power edition which is a badass card.

but i can also get a cheap 660 TI and OC it to a 760 TI? I think

Unless I'm missing something huge, the 760 Ti will have some overclocking ability of its own...

Prices very rarely make a huge drop on release day, if they make any drop at all.  Look at Sandy Bridge, it's still the same price as Ivy even right before Haswell release.

No you should wait until 700 launchs then grab a 760ti for same price as 660ti so you will get a better card.

but a 7950 for $250 is good i would pounce on that

that does sound better, the 7950 is only like 5-10 frames behind in the benchmarks i've seen

ya and you get 4 free games to you have to be a subscriber to newegg though but thats not all that bad price is $290 sorry but like i said 4 games.

not a terrific brand but they arent bad at all http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161420&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL052113&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL052113-_-EMC-052113-Index-_-DesktopGraphicsVideoCards-_-14161420-L011C

To be completely honest with you, I'd just recommend grabbing a 7950, even after those price shifts take place "if they ever do" the 7950 will remain the better performer especially after it's overclocked, it will still have more VRAM, better anti aliasing performance & include 4 great games bundled.

Now, graphs :
