So,a friend of mine wants to get a new contract and , because of that , to also buy a new phone.Here in Romania the main carriers are Vodafone,Orange and Cosmote.

 

He asked Orange, which is what he was using. and they gave them an offer with a 28 EUR contract ( unlimited national calls, 3GB of internet) and 300 EUR for an S5 and 359 EUR for an HTC M8(the phone he wants).That price for the M8 was very very high!He calculated that,if he got a 15 EUR contract(unlimited everything and he needs the internet) and get the M8 unlocked, at full price,he would actually be left with more money.

So,he talked to the guy who was handling him and convinced him to come up with better offers and...ta daa!

15 EUR contract, unlimited everything and ... HTC M8 at 159 EUR.

 

I wonder how many people got "scammed" like this guy almost did...

Wooow. vodafone.. That brings back memories. 

I thought they dissapeared since i haven't heard anything about them for a looong while xD

they used to be present here a few years ago but dissapeared too. guess they are moving more and more east :P soon they will be the main japan carrier
