As long as DHCP is disabled and you static assign an IP address that is different from your primary router, it should work. I have my second router in bridge mode and it basically does just that. Check to see if your second router supports bridge mode, it's not necessary but sometimes can make the initial setup a little quicker.So this should work
And do i need all of the steps in this video just to set it up
Edit: I can not comment on how well this will work as my routers are connected by Cat5e cable and not a power line adapter.
