linus has a build guide for just such a budget

you could go off that and just change things slightly to fit your needs and preferences

from what i understand the $1500 in his guide is based off of components only and doesn't include the peripherals

It's a good one, but a bit old. But it's different when you are directly asking :)

you do realized the videos 2 years old? pretty damn out dated

i think its still applicable, cpu prices haven't changed much, get a mobo that is comparable, a more recent corsair psu, a case that suits your fancy, some ram which hasnt changed much apart from speeds (and the price i suppose). and your pretty much

But it's different when you are directly asking :)

i get that, and want thinking too much on that side of things but i'm just saying there's places to start

Guys, what are the best configurations for $1500-ish (more or less than)(less than most probably) for a PC? Don't include peripherals and OS, Just the parts needed the build the actual PC. I leave my faith to you guys :)

If the usage was specified, I missed it. So two slightly different builds. To turn either into a better overclocker, add an h100i to the front.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

USD for easy generalization

Wait so is your physical location in the U.S.? It's not always about currency conversion, go to Iceland and see the 2:1 disproportionate pricing there with lack of options. I know because I had to design a build for some girl (I think she was a girl can't remember) in Iceland.

You gotta do you girl. I always say you gotta do you. And if he's doing him, then who's doing you? Because right now, it seems like no one's doing you.
