Skyrim Bug.... Possible Fix?

This has NEVER happened to me before and to be quite honest it is pissing me right off.  All keyboard controls would not work at all and I was troubleshooting it for almost an hour.  (Yes I did change the bGamepadEnable=1 Setting to zero, not sure why that was enabled as an xbox controller has never even touched my PC) Now for some reason I have to activate the steam overlay (shift + Tab) for keyboard controls to work.  If I dont do that then there is no way for me to play the game whatsoever.  Are there any suggestions?

Try deleting your skyrimprefs.ini and skyrim.ini in the

my games folder and then open skyrim up.

Did you set the settings back to what you want in the skyrim launcher? 

Restarting Skyrim shouldv'e added a fresh Skyrim.ini and Skyrimprefs.ini

Try to download them from here http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showpost.php?s=f36e617ef710fd3d0965a8dcdc612388&p=26470720&postcount=3

and then put them where you deleted the two inis from

ive fixed everything else except the original problem
