Need help on an audio setup!

Hi, audiophiles!

 

In my desperate times of needing new headphones, I seek your wisdom!
 

I have 500$(ish) to spend, but I have no idea what to buy!

 

I do not know a shit about DACs or anything. All I know is that I need some good headphones or in-ears for listening to elektro/house and some gaming. 

 

I currently have a custom PC (will be updated to an 27" iMac this autumn) and an M-AUDIO FastTrack. 

 

Please come with your suggestions and arguments for your solutions! I am not in need of headphones or in-ears with a mic! It would be great if they work OK straight to my S4 (soon to be iPhone 6) for music listening.

I did not ask for advice on my phone. I asked for advice on headphones.

Custom One Pros or 1R depending on what you like in a headphone. White M100's would match your future iMac well enough.

How are the sound signatures?

Really you shouldnt bother with any amp ordac, onboard will do fine, unless youhave to have something, at whoch point the Syba Dac. The COP is bass heavy while the 1R and M100 are decently balanced. Graph inbound

Amplitude at a given frequency, you mentioned signature and I implied you could read a graph. Basically 1R/7506 are flatish, not bass, mid, or treble heavy. M100 and COP are decently bass heavy withthe M100 pretending to be flat
