Out of game lag when playing fullscreen games

Any program that is running when i am playing a fullscreen game, lags badly like 1fps

 

Specs:

-3770k

-amd 7870

-msi m-power

-16gb corsair vengance

-120gb ssd

-1.5tb hdd

-h100i

why do you need another program when you're playinga tfull screen anyways, just quit the game.
Temporary fix at least

check your error logs. update your motherboard, direct x and gfx drivers, defrag your hdd, clean your registry.

check in bios and make sure your gpu is set to peg 1 (pci-e slot 1) and its running on a x16 multiplyer.

you may want to load optimized defaults and then go through the bios setting what you need to just to be sure everything is correct.

 

if none of that works then run some checks on your drives.
