I have a FX-4170 cpu and was wondering if I should consider getting a air or liquid cooler for it. Now that summer is approaching my cpu is getting a little hotter. It was running at about 150f with playing a game with the stock cooler. I have a thermal take v9 black edition, would a change of fans be a good idea aswell?

welcome to the forum,

it is always a good idea (if budget allows) to help the CPU temperatures as much as you can.

it doesn't have to be top-o-the-line, but something complimentary to the build and functional

for cooing. the cooler master 212+/EVO is budget friendly and functional.

atleast when in relation to computers I think Celsius is more appropriate.

66C is perfectly fine for your cpu
