Hi there,

I've been in your situation before, I know how it feelz.

I'm using CPU Boss to compare your potential CPU's, I love that website. Check it out if u hevn't already!

The FX 6300 scores the best overall.

Behind it is the FX 4350.

Following it is theX4 760K

Last and least comes the FX 4130

The FX has (in my view), the best performance per dollar. And it packs in 6 cores. The 6 cores will be good for the future, whether you're gaming, editing or whatever. It should theoretically give you better performance than the 4 cores.

So I would recommendthe FX 6300 CPU. But a few questions.

What's your budget?

Are you only going to be gaming?

I'm sure it will turn out well ;)

Cheers,

Quentin

but the 6300 is at 3.5 while the others are at 3.8

is it because of the 6 cores you advise me to buy this one?

sry for asking but im noob with hardware and I don't understand why a prossessor is better than another

Yeah don't fall into the GHz trap. Intel's i5 CPUs for example are much better than those ones even though they're clocked lower.

The FX6300 is the pick from your list, however some more info about your budget and what you want to do would be helpful in case there are better options available to you ;)

Then you're good to go! :)

What other components are you using?

Have you decided?

Cheerz.

Mobo: Asus M5A97 R2.0

GPU: EVGA gtx 750 ti superclocked

Ram: 8 gigs

power supply: corsair CS550M 80 plus gold

Yes, everything looks gr8 m8!

The games you play aren't that graphically demanding, you should get good FPS smoothly @med-high.

Only if yer budget allows would I recommend stepping p to a gtx 660 or a 660ti ;)

Rock on,

Quentin

so you thing that 660 is better than 750 ti?

Do you do 25 man raids on WoW? An FX6300 might choke as the cores aren't that powerful at it only makes use of 2 of them.
