First Build

Zaaraus

I was hoping to build my first PC with a budget of anywhere around £800-£1200.

This is what I have picked out, I will be getting an OS at a later date. At first I will not be OCing but I may consider when feeling confident about it. Any suggestions are welcome and would be appreciated, Thanks!

I forgot to mention, I will be using it mainly for gaming with some editing.

@Zaaraus

How is this. It is an Orange/Black themed build at the same price point as the build you linked. You could switch out the I5 for an I7 if you are doing frequent editing.

At the lower end of your budget. An i5 is more than enough for gaming and general desktop use. The 4690K on a Z97 ROG motherboard has to option to overclock when and if you decide to try it out. A very nice but less expensive tower case to house everything. And a better sized power supply.

You might consider upgrading from a GTX 770 to a GTX 780 or R9 290.
