- Budget is 700 euro

- It is for gaming mostly

- This is the vendor (in Dutch) https://www.alternate.nl/html/index.html

- Already have monitor, keyboard and mouse.

- Already have the case

I already made a build with a FM2 CPU, the 760k, but I am not sure if that would be wise.... Would it?

It does need to have an SSD ( we chose the 240GB one from Crucial which is 100 euro which is a good deal) and 1 TB HDD+ 8 GB of RAM.

Help, could you guys put the most optimal build together for gaming? :P

What case did you buy? Are the prices there different from PCPartPicker?

My current rig for entertainment/gaming: i5 4570 3,2GHz; MSI B85M-E45; ZOTAC GTX760 AMP!; 8GB (2x4GB) by Kingston; Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200rpm; Corsair 200R, Corsair VS650; Dell U2312HM, Samsung DVD R/W optical drive; CM Devastator; Corsair MM400 gaming pad

Doesn't matter what case really, :P it's a midi tower from cooler master, something with the 690 III. Not being rude, I just don't remember and it really doesn't matter I suppose, sorry. Because it will fit ATX motherboards and all other parts.

I guess they are more than at PCpartpicker? Seeing as how prices are generally higher in the Netherlands. for parts.

I am just saying you can go crazy with 700 euro on that website minus a case.  :D

https://www.alternate.nl/html/configurator/builder/structure/page.html?className=harddiskSSD&artNo=IMHM4E&cmd=remove&kind=pcBuilder

Went a bit overkill with i3 and no SSD for the R9 280X, if you want to have i5 and SSD tune it down to R9 270X

CPU: i3 4150

RAM: 8GB 2x4 Corsair Vengeance

Mobo: Gigabyte H97-D3H

Storage: 120GB 840 EVO + 1TB Seagate (My mistake it does fit an SSD)

GPU: Sapphire R9 280X Dual-X

PSU: Corsair CX750M (All the psu there are so expensive, you can go down to CX650 to save some money, won't gonna affect anything)

total: € 718,30*

My current rig for entertainment/gaming: i5 4570 3,2GHz; MSI B85M-E45; ZOTAC GTX760 AMP!; 8GB (2x4GB) by Kingston; Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200rpm; Corsair 200R, Corsair VS650; Dell U2312HM, Samsung DVD R/W optical drive; CM Devastator; Corsair MM400 gaming pad

Oh going to 600 watt is good too, look at my build. :P

750 is only recommend on their website for the R9 cards because they don't know if the PSU is crap or not, so they put 750 to be safe.

But yeah, is the i3 okay for gaming?

Yes, it will be just fine, maybe bottleneck but will be neglectable,
