I've been having some blue screens lately, almost everyday.

Does anyone know the cause of this and how to fix it?

put your CPU to stock and see if it works then.

hm..

I have it overclocked to 4.2Ghz, but it was stable. I had to set everything again when I updated the bios, maybe something is a little different.

It makes sense because the blue screen accurs after hours of gameplay, I will increase the voltage, and if it doesnt work, I will put it to stock.

Its the maximum of my 4770k which I put under a custom loop if that makes you feel any better.

  • 2 weeks later...

I found out what the problem was. It was the cpu cache racio. I have my cpu at 4.2GHz, and I put the cache racio at 42x too. I guess my cpu can't handle the cache racio at the same level as cpu frequency, I decrease to 40x and now it is fine.

And I put my voltage lower again :P
