hello i am new member.my problem is that i play all games with medium settings graphics (like skyrim,empire total war,dota 2) and when i play total war rome 2 at the lowest graphic mob my fps are very low and my game lags. plz tell me what i can do to fix this.go to buy external graphic card?replace graphic card?replace core? note that my laptop adapter is 135 watt low than original....... if i buy a 210watt like original adapter it would be fine?? or buy 260 watt adapter more than original it would be better for graphic performance.

intel core 2 p8700 2.54ghz

nvidia fx 2700m

8gb ram ddr3 

1920x1200 resolution

Hi welcome to the forum 

I doubt you would be able to replace your graphics card in your laptop as it is most likely soldered to the board 

Apart from getting a newer laptop as that one is quite old in terms of graphics card  or building or buying a desktop 

You could set the power plan to high performance and try playing at lower resolutions 

and try Geforce experience but apart from that there isn't much you can do

does the lower watt that adapter supply the laptop is a problem ? and maybe it needs to put at it more watts thanks
