something keeps reverting my gpu overclock

crap i found it I dont recall messing around with this setting

hi guys something keeps reverting my overclock on my 7850 running WHQL 14.4 with latest beta afterburner for the last couple days when i launch a game ,gpu overclock is reseted to 920mhz and when i revert it back to overclocked profile or even manually overclock via catalyst center overclock wont apply

so i launch the game at overclocked settings when i monitor gpu speed temps etc its reverted back to stock i also monitored this with gpuz 

anyone had this issue ? its kinda of a big issue since overclock helps quite a LOT on these cards.

only apps that can overclock are MSI Afterburner and Catalyst Control Center.

EDIT:rebooted my pc and issue still persists on Metro Last Light and every other 3D steam game i have

Don't know if it is the same as nvidia, but with my card when my overclock is too high it automatically reverts back to stock speeds. Maybe your clock is too high?

My Rig :  Case: Cooler Master HAF X ,Motherboard: Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H,PSU: Seasonic SS-750KM3,Processor: Core I7 4770k (overclocked 4.7ghz),Cooler: Corsair H100i, GPU: EVGA GTX 780 with acx cooler, RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 16gb DDR3 1600 (overclocked to 2000mhz), HDDS  Samsung 840 EVO 250 gb SSD , Western digital  2tb 7200 rpm 64mb cache, Old 1tb laptop drive I had , 320gb for os backup daily, 80gb external for weekly backups,Drives 2x Lg Blu Ray burner WH16MS40,MISC: Tp-Link dual band wireless card, Logitech g510s, Razer Deathadder 2013, Acer G236HLBbd 23" monitor, Old tv I had 23" for secondary monitor, old 32" samsung tv third monitor

its actually not my card is a terrible overclock (stuck at 1125mhz my old dead card was running at 1300mhz) overclock was stable last day
