why would you do that?

Just reinstall it somewhere else, it's less of a fuss

If you insist, try the Steam mover application it should work on all PC application, but: YOU ARE DOING THAT ON YOUR OWN RISK.

I would think you need to uninstall, then reinstall it especifing a different folder.

Would my activation key still work?

It is because my other partition has Windows 8 which I don't use and it has my anti virus and I want to get it on my Windows 7 partition which I use, I should have specified in the OP.

If you deleted yout key it will not, but if you have a key file on your PC somewhere, than it should not be a problem ( i myself never use an antivirus, or use free versions, but have used Kaspersky in the past and every time i formated i had to be sure to save my key so i can use it when i instal my antivirus again )

Would my activation key still work?

Usually yes, I have reinstalled many antivirus and they do accept the activation key.  They just discount the days you have already used the software from the first time you installed it.  I have done that with Norton, kaspersky, McAffe, and that Panda antivirus.

Mystery is the source of all true science.

Should't be problem but just uninstall then reinstall.

Because I am sure you all care, I managed to just use the code again despite the fact it had already been used and is a code for the 2012 version and I am using the 2013 once again.
